Meet Stacey:
Stacey Loop, C-IAYT; E-RYT 500: RCYT; IIN Health Coach; BS Special Education
Stacey views life through the lens of the power of play. She understands the connection and "seriousness" behind play for both children and adults. Many of us have forgotten our “inner child” that still longs to be seen, heard and play-”full”. Letting play lead her heart allows her to live from a place of joy and inspiration so that she can be of deep service to others in helping them to reduce suffering and improve function on a multi-dimensional level. When we feel better, we live better.
Stacey is a certified yoga therapist and holistic health coach specializing in adapting breath, movement, sound, meditation, and lifestyle strategies to an individual’s condition. As a former Special Education Teacher, she naturally resonated with the therapeutic application of yoga and the art and science of adaptation to help clients optimize their health. Expertly trained, Stacey works with conditions ranging from structural, physiological, and mental health in a private one-to-one setting.
In 20 plus years, Stacey has taught over 3,500 classes in teacher training, special education topics, therapeutic privates, mentoring, and public classes. Recently, she was featured on the radio discussing yoga therapy and client success stories. In this time of pivot, Stacey’s reach expanded internationally with clients experiencing trauma and in groups teaching a progressive breath education series. She has co-presented at the University of Texas’s Social Workers Conference in 2017 and 2018 on the topic of “Inner Transformation: A Holistic Approach for Kids with Neurodiversity”. Stacey co-wrote and successfully trained teachers in a certified Children’s Yoga program for 5 summers. This sparked a deep passion to continue training teachers as a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider and she currently teaches yoga therapy short courses on a variety of topics both in working with neurodiverse children and common health issues for adults.
Stacey finds deep satisfaction in being of service to others. Outside of work, she spends time daily in her own yoga and meditation practice. One of her favorite past times is cultivating stillness by connecting to nature, especially by the ocean’s rhythmic waves. Dancing creates true joy, and she continues to use dance as a way to freely express the mind/body/spirit and in honor of her father whom she shared a deep soul connection. Together, they danced weekly in Parkinson’s Dance classes for many years. Stacey is a true believer in the power of play.
